Action Plan
Partnering with Indigenous Businesses:
We seek partnerships with Indigenous-owned businesses to promote economic development and build sustainable relationships. By collaborating with Indigenous entrepreneurs, we aim to support their growth and success while contributing to the advancement of Indigenous communities.
Purchasing Products and Services from Indigenous Businesses:
We prioritize sourcing products and services from Indigenous businesses whenever possible, as part of our commitment to Indigenous economic empowerment. By choosing Indigenous suppliers, we contribute to the growth of Indigenous enterprises and help create opportunities for local employment and economic self-sufficiency.
Employing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples:
We are dedicated to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace that reflects the communities we serve. As a small business, we strive to help recruit and employ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples for our organisation and clients, recognizing the value of their unique perspectives, skills, and contributions.
Mentoring Indigenous Business Owners:
We believe in the importance of mentorship in line with our Community Commitment policy and support for Indigenous entrepreneurs to succeed in business ventures. Through mentorship initiatives, we offer guidance, advice, and resources to Indigenous business owners to help them navigate challenges, build capacity, and achieve their goals. We encourage Indigenous entrepreneurs to contact us to commit our time and resources to identify the gaps and help where needed.
